of a 300+ acre working farm, vineyards and the mountains of North
Jersey offer a unique and beautiful background for Four Sisters Winery
in Belvidere, New Jersey, the third stop on the North Jersey Wine
Trail. Four Sister's Winery was one of the first wineries to open
after the Farm Wine Act of 1981 was established. Since then the winery
has drawn legions of fans who come back again and again for their
delicious wines and the numerous special events Four Sisters hosts
every year. In addition to the tasting room, Four Sisters features a
gift shop, a picnic area, and an indoor and outdoor area for special
events. Four Sisters Winery is open all year, but is closed Tuesday
and Wednesdays in January and February. It is open seven days a week,
9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. March through December.

Westfall Winery is a
perfect place to either begin your wine trail or end it. You may also
want to schedule a little more time for this trail since there is so
much to do close to Westfall Winery. Antique stores, bed & breakfasts,
tubing on the Delaware, quaint and historic towns, and parks are all
close by making this a perfect day trip or weekend getaway. Westfall
Winery is located on the top of New Jersey (you can see High Point
from their property) on a 326-acre horse farm and nature preserve.
Guided nature trails and programs are planned for the future to help
visitors enjoy the many rare and endangered species of animal and
plant life. That is if anyone would want to leave the cozy tasting
room The Wine Cellar at Westfall Winery. Opened in 2003, the winery
has received rave reviews from visitors and from wine critics, winning
awards for its very first vintage. The winery offers vinifera wines
and Italian varieties, as well as special programs including “Fun in
the Sun” weekends in the summer, and Wine Appreciation courses.
